Digging into those ethnographic roots and the PCB team is going to Trinidad! - Dalyla

Conducting field research centered on Trinidad Carnival and J'ouvert offers deep cultural insights that will significantly enhance our productions in Atlanta. This research explores themes of liberation, resilience, and community inherent in these celebrations, which are crucial for authentically representing Black, Queer, Fem, and other intersectionally marginalized identities. By understanding these traditions, we can better connect the spirit of "coming home" to our narratives, ensuring they resonate deeply and inclusively with diverse audiences. This approach supports the development of more impactful and representative productions​
